The Rojas family would like to share the following message with the Gloria Dei community.
“Luis, Sebastian, and I give thanks to God for giving us life and for welcoming us into God’s home, giving us food, clothing, health, and beautiful people who help us every day with everything we need. Thank you to the pastors for always giving us of their time and making us feel confident and secure here. Thank you to the whole staff for always being willing to help us. Thank you to the choir and the whole congregation for singing songs in Spanish during the worship service. Thank you to the people who worked on the project to construct Room 99, to those who worked to enable us to come here, and to all who are helping us as we adapt to our new life here, welcoming us with so much love. Thank you for wanting to learn Spanish and for having patience with our English. Thank you for wanting to learn from us. Each of you has made us feel happy and special. When we think about Gloria Dei, we always say that it is the perfect place–perfect pastors, perfect choir, perfect staff, and perfect members. Thank you for making us part of this wonderful family.”
The Rojas family has an artificial Christmas tree with lights and could use ornaments! If you would like to contribute one ornament for their tree, please leave it in the bag in the church office labeled ROJAS CHRISTMAS TREE so they will have ornaments to add to their tree. Thank you!
