Wednesday night Lent services will help us mark the season over the next four weeks. All will be at 7 p.m. and also be livestreamed on Gloria Dei’s YouTube Channel. This week Congregation President Lenore Franzen will be sharing a short reflection. Other speakers in ensuring weeks are:

Each Wednesday service will be preceded by a soup supper in the Fellowship Hall starting at 5:45 p.m. Suggested donation is $5/person. Pay when/what you’re able. Electronic payment is also available.
Many people traditionally mark the season by setting aside time for daily reflection and spiritual formation. We’re encouraging all our members to make it a practice of reading devotions from Water and Spirit: Devotions for Lent 2023, from Augsburg Fortress. You can download the electronic version for $2, available for Nook, Kindle or Google. Our supply of print copies has been replenished and you can pick up a copy for $3 at the table across from the parish nurse office here at Gloria Dei .
