The foundations have been strengthened and the existing beams and columns scanned for needed reinforcement. The steel has been ordered as needed for the kitchen and Fellowship Hall ceiling to support the new chancel platform. Some demolition has begun in the Sanctuary to prepare for the removal of the columns, and to prepare for installation of the new chancel choir risers and the new pipe organ.
