We are partnering again with Camp Onomia this summer for Vacation Bible School 2025. Camp Onomia is a member of Lutheran Outdoor Ministries, an ELCA camping organization. They will send camp counselors to Gloria Dei for the week to provide programming.
Partnering with Camp Onomia allows our youth and adult volunteers to be focused on relationship building and less on logistics! It also allows us to offer all day programming for elementary students.
Monday, June 23 – Thursday, June 26, 2025
PREKINDERGARTEN: 9:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
- Children age 3-5 as of January 1, 2025, who are potty-trained and have not completed Kindergarten
- Cost: $40
ELEMENTARY: 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
- Children who have completed Kindergarten – 5th grade.
- Cost: $100
ELEMENTARY EXTENSION: 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- This is an optional extension for Kindergarten – 5th grade
- Cost: $30
- Registration option is an optional part of elementary registration
YOUTH Volunteers
- Students who have completed 6th -12th grade
ADULT Volunteers
- 18 years or older

Theme Verse: “The word is near you, on your lips and in your hearts.” – Romans 10:8
Think about the last time you heard a great story. Did it make your laugh? Bring a tear to your eye? Evoke joy or anger, love or sadness? Each story, and every part of our lives, is shaped by words – spoken, heard and read. The many ways we understand “Word” are at the heart of the theme for the week, as we emphasize the importance of God’s word that comes near. Daily themes include: God’s Word Comes Near in Trusting, in Blessing, in Listening, in Serving and in Following.
