33rd Saint Paul Area Synodical Women’s Organization Convention
Register now for the 33rd Saint Paul Area Synodical Women’s Organization Convention. Saturday, July 16 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Bethesda Lutheran Church in Inver Grove Heights with lunch provided. We invite all women at Gloria Dei, all ages, to attend. We also need a volunteer to attend this convention as the Gloria Dei voting member (no registration cost for you).
Our own Pastor Lois Pallmeyer will lead the Bible Study, and Bishop Patricia Lull will offer the sermon during the worship service.
The convention includes a variety of learning sessions: the ELCA social statement on politics and Christianity; Cherish All Children; Days for Girls and a keynote address on Racial Equity. There will be elections during the business meeting (plenary) that include electing the voting members to the 2023 Triennial in September in Phoenix, Arizona. Registration is $35 to attend which includes lunch and a subscription to their “Bridges” newsletter. Invite a friend to attend with you. Let’s celebrate this opportunity to gather together again as women “Spirit Led, Spirit Fed.”
